Perm as viewed by German art photographer

Photographic exhibition “The Perm accents” will be opened in Gorky Library since the 18^th of July. The author is an art photographer from Duisburg, German twin-city of Perm.

“The Perm accents” are the impressions of Thomas Seifert from Perm and natives of Perm. Eighteen photos, exposed at this photographic exhibition, have already been exposed in 2013 at photographic exhibition “The View” along with the works of photographers from Grenoble, Oxford, and Louisville within the international festival of twin-cities “We are together!”, and aroused much interest of the citizens of the principal city of the region and city guests.

The exhibition will be exposed in art-hall of the 2d floor and in the interactive hall till the 30^th of August.

Thomas Seifert

Born in 1971 in Duisburg. Professional photographer.

1995-1998 – studied for industrial and advertising photographer.

Since 2001 – freelance artist.

2008 – Young Art Gallery, Berlin.

2009 – Union of Duisburg Artists.

2009 – City studio of Duisburg.

Various personal and collective expositions.

Participant of the project “Histories lie in streets: Perm and Duisburg in the mirror of street-art”, executed by German Reading Room in Perm within the Year of Germany in 2012-2013.
