Perm is actively developing twin-city relations

From the 29th of November to the 5th of December delegation from the twin-city of Perm Duisburg (Germany) will be on an official visit in the regional capital. Heads of charity fund «Life space» are Sarah Güttler, Heike Maus, Norbert Hubert Gatc. It should be noted that in the field of social projects, our cooperation is developing rapidly and become long-lasting.
Guests from Duisburg are not for the first time in our city and, as always, the program of the visit is very rich. This time they met with the head of State archive of Perm region - Andrey Borisov, general director of "Perm Fair" - Sergey Klimov. Together with the deputy chairman of City Duma Aleksey Gribanov they discussed important issues of help to people with disabilities.
Also, Sarah Güttler, Heike Maus and Norbert Hubert Gatc met with the head of the Department of special pedagogy and psychology of PSHPU Olga Voroshnina. Sarah Güttler noted that cooperation with Pedagogical University is productive and long-lasting. In the Centre of psychological-pedagogical, medical and social assistance, round table discussion "Professional self-determination of children with limited health abilities" was conducted. It gathered German guests, specialists from city administration and educational psychologists. The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of vocational guidance for children with limited abilities, exchanged experience of work with such children in Germany and in Russia.
In 2017 Perm and Duisburg will celebrate a decade of establishment of twining relations; public activists from Duisburg are going to visit Perm again within the framework of celebration.
