Teachers of calligraphy from the school No. 2 of Qingdao conducted a calligraphy lesson for pupils of the Municipal Budget Educational Institution “Gymnasium No. 2” of Perm

As part of realization of the Agreement on cooperation between the Municipal Budget Educational Institution “Gymnasium No. 2” of Perm and the school No. 2 of Qingdao on May 20 2015, an online calligraphy lesson for the pupils of Perm and Qingdao was conducted. The lesson was given by Master of calligraphy from Qingdao Ms. Chu. The Perm pupils took part in the class in the video conference regime.

At the lesson the children learnt about different styles of writing hieroglyphs, their history and origin. At the practical part of the lesson a master class in writing a number of well-known hieroglyphs was organized.

At the end of the lesson the pupils from Perm and Qingdao presented their creative works, and told about their impressions of writing hieroglyphs.

The headmistress of the Municipal Budget Educational Institution “Gymnasium No. 2” of Perm Lyudmila Sukhanova explained that conducting such lessons was very important for pupils who learnt the Chinese language. “Communication with native Chinese speaking teachers and persons of the same age always gives new stimuli in learning the language”, Lyudmila Sukhanova stressed.

We would remind you that relations between the school No. 2 of Qingdao and the Municipal Budget Educational Institution “Gymnasium No. 2” of Perm started in 2011. For the last few years the schools have regularly held joint events, including ones in the online regime.
