Head of Perm met with a delegation of education workers from Qingdao, city in China.

Today the Head of administrative centre of Perm kray Igor Sapko, Deputy Chairman of Perm City Duma Yurii Utkin, Deputies Arsen Bolkvadze and Maksim Tebelev, representatives of Perm education sphere held a working meeting with a delegation from school No. 2 of Qingdao (PRC).
Igor Sapko pointed out that the next year will mark 10 years since the start of official partnership between Perm and Qingdao. Therefore, assessment of cooperation experience in various sectors acquires special importance today. A striking example of successful cooperation is cooperation in the sphere of education and teaching the Chinese language.
During the meeting the director of school No. 2 of Qingdao Sun Xiang Liang told about fruitful contacts between his school and Perm’s gymnasium No. 2. According to him, it is necessary to continue to develop cultural and educational exchange between our cities. In this connection Igor Sapko and guests from Qingdao agreed on detailed plan of events for 2016, which includes interactive learning of the Russian and Chinese languages on the basis of secondary schools, holding of the third international festival "Voices of Eurasia", and visit of representatives of Perm’s gymnasium No. 2 to Qingdao.
"These years we did much of work, contributed to development of contacts between our schools and universities, commercial and industrial structures, cultural dialogue. Today a unique certified international centre of study of the Chinese language and culture operates in Perm - it is Confucius Classroom in gymnasium No. 2. There are no analogues in Russia, all language centres operate at universities; it is our serious advantage, allowing to develop fruitful contacts with our Eastern friends.
