Qingdao Technologies Transfer II Session

On October 12 – 16, 2015, Perm National Research Polytechnic University’s representatives participated in the Qingdao Technologies Transfer II Session at the Scientific Research Summit of ASRTU (Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities). Perm National Research Polytechnic University (PNRPU) was invited to the Summit as a regular member of ASRTU. Scientific Research Summit of the universities-members of ASRTU at Qingdao (China) invited delegations of 20 Russian universities. During the Summit, Russian universities’ representatives participated in the Grand Opening ceremony of the ASRTU Summit; visited the HIT (Harbin Institute of Technology) Scientific and Technical Park at the Blue Silicon Valley in Jimo (north of Qingdao); Scientific research projects’ exhibition of the universities and enterprises; plenary meeting “Scientific and technical innovation actuates the regional economy’s progress. Cooperation and mutual benefit promote international technologies’ transfer”. Also, Perm delegation participated in the exhibition “ASRTU Universities in the anti-fascist war”. At the Summit, Chinese specialists presented their new concept of the innovation sources’ integration for creating an international service network for technologies transfer (reported by Jing Xunxuan). The audience has attended the lecture of Lee Tianchuang “Intellectual property’s protection in the international technologies’ transfer”. Russian side of the plenary meeting was represented by the lecture of V.V. Sokolov, Vice-Chancellor of the Moscow State Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation MIREA “Implementation of the innovations received by MIREA’s scientists in China”. During the ASRTU Summit, the participants have attended a conference and a discussion of the format of co-operation in technologies’ transfer. N.G. Ryzhov, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University named after V.I. Lenin (ETU), in the open discussion stressed the importance of the dialog subject consolidation of the strategic development of China and Russia, the significance of the mutually beneficial format of the scientific and technical industrial co-operation of the two countries. The delegates presented their projects. PNRPU presented 5 main and 3 complementary innovative projects for the purpose of their evaluation in view of implementation and realization on the basis of the HIT (Harbin Institute of Technology) Scientific and Technical Park at the Blue Silicon Valley in Qingdao. Our representatives carried consultations subject organizing Sino-Russian scientific and technical workshops and conferences, scientific research on the basis of the HIT (Harbin Institute of Technology) facilities, including those using internet technologies, as well as promoting joint scientific works for publishing in the leading international editions. During the Summit, its participants had a chance to communicate among them with a good result in discussing the prospective co-operation in frame of the ASRTU with the representatives of the leading Russian universities such as MIREA, South Ural State University (SUSU), Siberian Federal University, Ural Federal University and others. ASRTU (Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities) is a non-commercial organization founded in 2011 and uniting on a voluntary basis technical universities of both countries for the purpose of co-operation in the field of high professional technical education in frame of the “Commission for Humanitarian Co-operation between Russia and China”. The main objective of the Association is to consolidate the efforts of the leading technical universities of Russia and China in training highly skilled personnel for an innovative economy, promoting academic exchange for students and teaching staff, developing scientific and technical co-operation between Russia and China. Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) is co-chairing the Association from the Chinese side, Bauman Moscow State Technical University is co-chairing the Association from the Russian side.
