Perm pupils returned from China

During May 22-31, 2016 a group of pupils from Municipal Autonomous General Educational Institution “Grammar School No. 2” of Perm visited China within the cultural exchange program of Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban). This group consisted of the pupils of Municipal Autonomous General Educational Institution “Grammar School No. 2” of Perm with the highest Chinese proficiency. As part of the program, the excursions over Beijing and Qingdao (city-partner of Perm), workshops and lessons of Chinese language were arranged. In the course of the visit, grammar school pupils visited China University of Petroleum, where different variants for continuing the education in China were represented to them. One day young grammar school pupils lived in Chinese families for real-life communication with agemates.

As Lyudmila Sukhanova, Headmaster of Municipal Autonomous General Educational Institution “Grammar School No. 2” of Perm, said, this trip is a part of general plan of events with the School No. 2 of Qingdao. Chinese pupils regularly participate in events arranged by Perm Grammar School, and last year a delegation from this School visited Perm. “For the moment we have achieved serious results in the sphere of cultural and educational exchange with China, we plan to develop this partnership in long-term outlook,” – Lyudmila Sukhanova explained.
