Qingdao City Administration thanked Perm for warm welcome given to young sportsmen from China

From 7 till 23 of July young football players from Qingdao, the twin-city of Perm, visited the principal city of the region. They participated in the project “International Football Camp” in the out-of-town children’s holiday camp “LesnayaSkazka” (Perm Krai, Krasnokamsk District, Klepiki village). The children participated in all events of the camp “Lesnaya Skazka”, learned the song “Kalinka-malinka”, played in “Zarnitsa”, took part in two football tournaments, visited school No. 2 and Perm National Research Polytechnic University, went on a tour around Perm.

The official letter from Qingdao City Administration says that the sportsmen came back to Qingdao. The authorities of the twin-city noted that this visit left the most positive impressions on the children. During their stay in Perm, they sent comments and photos home, told their relatives, friends, students of the city about this trip. The football players are grateful for warm welcome and opportunity to participate in competitions.

“This visit to Perm is an example of close collaboration between the two cities. Such tournaments advance gaining of experience and strengthening of friendly relationship. The authorities of Qingdao hope for the further cooperation between twin-cities that will help to execute various projects,” – was noted by Qingdao City Administration.

Note: Qingdao is the city located in the province of Shandong (China) 555 kilometers south-eastward from Beijing on the coast of the Yellow Sea. Qingdao is a twin-city of Perm since 2003.
