Delegation of Chinese University of Petroleum visited Perm Polytech

On October 10, 2016 within the realization of cooperation agreement between PNRPU and Chinese University of Petroleum Huadong (Qingdao), the first vice-principal of PNRPU, N.A.Shevelev, and the Head of Mountain-Petroleum Faculty, S.V. Galkin, greeted the official delegation of Chinese University of Petroleum headed by Well Logging Department Chairman, Shao Tsaizhui.

During business meetings on October 10 and 11, the Chinese delegation go to know scientific areas of focus of Mountain-Petroleum Faculty, experience of scientific and research work with the students of MPF, took reports of the scientists about the problems of petrophysics and hydrodynamic researches of wellsites.

Well Logging Department Chairman, Shao Tsaizhui, made a report “Technology of Logging during Drilling”. Well Logging Department Deputy Chairman, WeiZhouto, made a report “Development of Acoustic Well Logging” and told about petrophysical researches carried out at the premises of Chinese University of Petroleum.

At the meetings there were made reports by the partners of PNRPU:

• I.A.Chernykh (LLC LUKOIL-PERM)

Within the visit to PNRPU the delegation visited university laboratories of core examination.

As the result of business meetings the parties expressed mutual agreement and readiness to start work in the sphere of academic and scientific mobility.

Chinese University of Petroleum and PNRPU made mutual decision to create working groups at the level “professor-professor” for mutual work at articles and realization of the programs of mutual administration of scientific work of postgraduates and graduate students.
