Perm youth going to the sister cities

A group of students of the gymnasium No. 6 (Perm) left for Agrigento (Sicily, Italy) within the academic exchange with their partner school. This last is the Raffadali (Province of Agrigento) Garibaldi Communal School. These two schools’ friendship started due to the gymnasium’s representatives’ participation in the traditional festival “Perm Days in Sicily”, and in 2014 an agreement of co-operation between the two educational institutions was concluded. The Gymnasium No. 6 had chosen 2015-2016 school year to be “The Year of Italy”.

In view of skill sharing in volunteer activities, members of the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization “Organization of students and schoolchildren of Perm Kray “Friendship Vector” will visit Perm’s sister city -  Louisville (Kentucky, USA) at the end of October – beginning of November 2015. Perm young people will present their project “The Copybook of Friendship” to American teachers and schoolchildren, and in their turn will make an acquaintance of the activities of different volunteer and charitable institutions of the sister city. Traditionally, Perm participants will stay with host families - members of “Sister Cities of Louisville”, Inc. organizing the visit.
