Yury Utkin met with the delegation from Oxford

The delegation from Perm’s twin-city Oxford (UK) will stay in our city October 11-24. James Malcomson, emeritus professor of economics, Sally Richards, gerontological social worker and professor of Oxford Brookes University, Nigel Robertson, former consultant of the TACIS programme and small and medium enterprise (SME) development specialist, and Caroline Treadwell, specialist in the history of Islamic art, are in the delegation. At the meeting with the delegation our city was represented by Deputy Chairman of Perm City Duma YuryUtkin. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the cooperation between Oxford and Perm.

In the course of the conversation, YuryUtkin highlighted that in the end of 2015 the celebration of the 20th anniversary of a successful twinning agreement between Oxford and Perm took place in our city. According to him, it is definitely important to develop a trust-based dialogue between the two cities.
